Grafton gardeners have a chance to showcase their beautiful work over Jacaranda Festival. A gorgeous collection of gardens from bush landscapes, gardens full of fragrant roses to modern environments. Don’t forget to take in Grafton’s avenues of lilac blossomed Jacaranda Trees! Locations will be announced closer to the Festival. Or take a guided tree tour which visits some of the Open Gardens.
Annette's Garden - 17 Edgecombe Avenue, Junction Hill
A half-acre sanctuary, features include entry display, formal garden, fernhouse and waterfall garden. Scrumptious morning and afternoon teas, served all day.
Southgate Community Hall - School Lane, Junction Hill
Southgate Community Hall is a country garden. The Hall is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday — morning and afternoon tea available 10am – 4pm for $5.00pp.
Scheffer House Museum - 190 Fitzroy Street, Grafton
Feast your eyes on our lovely Cottage Garden with a great variety of flowering annuals and perennials. Take a stroll up the lavender lane, watch bees, birds and butterflies. Take home a lovely memory.
Remember When Cottage Museum, 28 Eatonsville Road, Waterview Heights
An entertaining informal garden with different themes, including the horse shoe game garden, farm plough plants, a micro rainforest, hedged walls, green house nursery and the 100 year old cottage as the background.
Grafton Regional Gallery - 158 Fitzroy Street, Grafton
Created in 1988, the garden features camellia bushes, the holly tree and climbing thornless rose. The Friends of the Gallery reconstructed the front western garden in 2003 and tended the garden for three years.
Julie Sheen - 229 Dinjerra Road, Glenugie
